Any person who objects to the application for registration of a mark in Iran must, within 30 days of the date of publication of the notice subject to Article 120 of this Code, submit his objection in two copies, in violation of the provisions of paragraphs (a) and (b) of Article 30 and Article 32 law to submit to registration authority.

After the objection is filed, the second copy will be returned to the protester with the date and the receipt number. The objection must be accompanied by the reasons for the citation and the payment of the objection. If it is necessary after completing the petition and citation documents to complete the documents attached to the petition, the Registrar shall, in determining the cases, request the applicant in writing within 30 days of the date of notification of the defect. Otherwise, the protest will be treated as one.

Needed documents:

* Power of attorney legalized by the Iranian Consulate with official Persian translation.

* Copy of the registration certificate in Iran.(If the trademark is not registered in Iran, the application must be filed simultaneously with the protest)
